Crafting Sacana
A Seamless Platform for Connection and Care
Purpose: App and website design
Role: UI + UX design, Animation
Year: 2024
Sacana is a global video call service designed to provide 24/7 access to meaningful conversations for elderly individuals. Through Sacana, I had the pleasure of developing a user-centric, visually appealing, and functional platform aimed at combating loneliness and fostering connection. This app enables elderly users to engage in uplifting conversations with friendly matrons, offering a positive impact on their daily lives.

THE CHALLENGE
My approach was to create a website that is visually appealing and functional, with a structure and content flow that encourages engagement. The layout is clean and modern, ensuring that the site’s aesthetic aligns with Sacana’s brand identity. Every asset, from icons to images, was carefully designed to enhance the user journey.

As the lead designer, I was responsible for the overall user experience across the Sacana platform, including:
Crafting a responsive, engaging website for both users and corporate clients.
Designing the app interface for elderly users that has an intuitive interface.
Developing the matrons’ dashboard for managing conversations.
Creating an admin section for efficient platform management.

RESULTS
The final product is a robust, user-friendly platform that connects elderly users with friendly matrons, while maintaining high-level functionality for admins and corporate partners. The web design ensured seamless navigation for all user roles, whether they were making calls, managing the platform, or exploring Sacana’s services.
